Public Health services are community based throughout the Northern Health Region in diverse settings such as health centers, schools, day care centers, and other community sites. Public Health activities focus on health promotion, health protection, disease prevention, injury prevention, health surveillance, population health assessment and responding to the needs of individuals or families.
