Our Vision, Mission and Values
As approved by our Board of Directors, the Vision, Mission and Values of the Northern Health Region form the foundation that our organization is built upon. The Vision that the Northern Health Region strives to attain is Accessible, respectful, inclusive and safe healthcare for everyone. The Mission of the Northern Health Region is to provide healthcare in a way that grows trust, inclusion and an understanding of patient needs to provide the best patient experience. We do that through people centered care and supporting our staff in a respectful, culturally safe environment. We are committed to meaningful partnerships with Indigenous partners, government agencies and other healthcare organizations as we strive to bring timely, equitable access to healthcare for the North. The Values we demonstrate in everything we do at the Northern Health Region are Trust, Respect, Integrity, Compassion and Humility.
