Call for Lived Experience Partners from the Northern Health Region – Meth Use in Manitoba Study

This study will identify “hotspots” for meth us in Manitoba. And build understanding the use of meth and the health care system. That will help health care providers and government better plan to meet the health care needs of individuals using meth.

Researcher Dr. Nathan Nickel would like to collaborate with individuals who have previously used meth as public partners on this project. As a public partner with lived experience, you can help the research team better focus the study to find the gaps in our health care system. Findings from this study will be presented directly to the government of Manitoba.

This study will us de-identified hospital, first responders and emergency department data. De-identified data is data with the information such as names and addresses removed so that the research team will not know who the individual people are.

Video and phone meetings will be available for individuals that live outside of Winnipeg.
