Expanded Hospital Visitor Access

Expanded Hospital Visitor Access in the Northern Health Region Takes effect June 10th

The Northern Health Region will begin visitor access for inpatients Wednesday, June 10th, 2020.  Specifically designated visitor/support persons (determined ahead of time) can visit Monday to Friday from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Visitor access maybe expanded to weekends and statutory holidays at a later date.

The Northern Health Region is following the recommended provincial guidelines that allow a select number of visitors/support persons within hospital inpatient units.

All visitors must comply with Infection Prevention and Control measures. This includes strict hand hygiene and maintaining physical distancing (6 feet/2 meters apart) at all times. It is strongly encouraged for visitors to wear a non-medical mask when in our facility.   Unit staff will work with patients and their families to establish the visitation list.
