Infection Prevention & Control

The Infection Prevention and Control (“IPAC”) program supports all departments in each facility throughout our Region.  The goal of IPAC is to work in collaboration with Nurses, Physicians, Allied Health, Patients, Clients, Visitors, and Volunteers, to promote, educate, and help ensure the prevention and transmission of infections.   There are IPAC practitioners in Flin Flon, The Pas, and Thompson, Monday to Friday.  Our IPAC team is available for consult for all surrounding facilities and outlying areas.
