Honoring Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit People

October 4th marks a National Day of Action dedicated to Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit People (MMIWG2S). On this day, we honor those who have been lost to violence, and advocate for justice, healing, and meaningful change. Indigenous women, girls, and Two-Spirit individuals face disproportionate risks to their safety and well-being. It is essential for communities to unite in pushing for systemic reform, long-term prevention strategies, and the promotion of dignity, respect, and equity for all. #MMIWG2S
