Manitoba Wildfire Updates – May 13th, 2024
We will be posting updates on affected health services in areas affected by wildfires as the situation evolves.
This is the most up-to-date information from the Northern Health Region as of May 13th, 2024, at 12:00pm.
Flin Flon & Area
- Public Notice: Flin Flon General Hospital continues to provide medical services. Please present to the Emergency Department for urgent/emergent needs
- At this time the Lab is open for routine blood work with limited services
- The Flin Flon Clinic at the Hospital is open
- Primary Health Care Centre is open for public health services
- At this time the Physiotherapy Department is closed to any scheduled appointments as well as the Northern Patient Transportation (NPTP) office.
- Reminder to all NHR staff to report to regular scheduled shifts. Stay safe, work safe and stay tuned onto the radio for future updates.
Diagnostic Services
Diagnostic Services remain available. Community members who do not require immediate diagnostics are asked to delay visiting the lab or imaging areas until communications networks are restored in the community.
