Jordan’s Principle – Ensuring First Nations Children Get The Services They Need, When They Need Them

Jordan’s Principle is a promise to ensure fairness for every First Nations child in Canada, regardless of their circumstances. It’s not just a rule; it’s a crucial lifeline that offers support when it’s most needed.

By pushing for changes in child and family services, we’re laying the groundwork for long-lasting improvements. We’re creating new systems and ways of funding to make sure every First Nations child gets what they need to thrive, not just survive.

Named in honor of Jordan River Anderson, a young soul whose light continues to inspire, it serves as a reminder of our collective responsibility to ensure that every child’s journey is defined by opportunity, dignity and endless possibility.
