24-hour on-call services are available in the community through Community Health Workers.

Services:

• Basic health assessments for minor health concerns, with consultation support from emergency physicians at Thompson General Hospital as needed
• Coordination of medical transportation for scheduled appointments outside the community, including medivac or ambulance transfers to Thompson Emergency Department when required
• Twice-monthly visits from a health care provider for in-community appointments
• Monthly Public Health Nurse visits providing public health services
