Message of Gratitude for Health System Staff

A message for Health System Staff from the Northern Health Region Executive Leadership and Incident Command

We want to thank each and every one of the team. We are incredibly proud and deeply grateful for everything you have done to ensure the safety and well-being of our patients, residents, and community members. The response over the past week has been nothing short of extraordinary. What you’ve accomplished in such a short time is truly heroic.

First and foremost, our thoughts are with all of you as we navigate the extremely challenging circumstances caused by the ongoing wildfires affecting our region and your home communities. We understand the immense stress these events have placed on you, both personally and professionally.

We also recognize that there are many uncertainties and questions at this time. We are currently compiling a list of these questions so that we can provide clear, consistent answers to support you.

To employees with questions, please send them to [email protected]. We are working to create a comprehensive FAQ to share with all employees as soon as possible.

Thank you for your continued dedication and strength.
